Thank you Anet for Wintersday!
Hi, this is just a quick post which I hope others will add too, to thank Anet for yet another wonderful Wintersday. Sure, there was lag and some didn't like the hats (I liked them ) but overall it was a tops event and I know at least myself and my guild had a very enjoyable time.
Thank you Anet for putting up with this community, even through the times when they get hostile for a hat they didn't like. Thank you for the wonderful event and another year of wonderful gaming.
I personally look forward to 2008 with you guys, with Guild Wars 2 and beyond!

Yeah well no thanks for another lackluster holiday with boring quests, crappy decorations, more useless consumables, lousy finale event, and poorly crafted headgear.
just kidding! All of those things I mentioned - A #1! Great job, guys!

Thanks ANET for bringing us all to gather in the hundreds of LA districts where some of our comps spazzed out when accidentally loading the damn map :P
Happy Holidays everyone

Can't beat the original Yule hat (aka "santa hat") for looks, but these 2 were not good. I got them, tried them on, registered them, and tossed 'em.
I had a great time with the Snowman Lair quests. Tons of CC shards FTW! Thanks for adding them!
And thanks to the players who worked to make this an enjoyable event, the one's who didn't get bent out of shape anytime anyone asked a question and took the time to explain what was going on to new players. Plus, I've gotta give props to the [MEOW] crew for putting on the "snowman summoner extravaganza" in Ascalon City last night. Over 2,000 summoners got fired off within 10 minutes. It was a hoot! (but I'm easily entertained )

Yeah, good job a-net, I enjoy the big events like this. It was also easy to farm tons of candy shards, and convert them to presents to get free alcohol, sweets and consumables. I got loads more presents just for showing up at the finales - twice every three hours (a couple of times, I was able to get all my presents in Lion's Arch, then zone to Kamadan and get another full load). I'm working toward my drunk titles so I saved a LOT of cash.
I don't know why everyone thinks the hats are so bad - I think they're cool, and as event hats go, I think they're among the best (I never saw the original designs so I had no expectations, and nothing to be disappointed about).

this years was kinda lame compared to last year and the one before that. i farmed and farmed, trying to get more CC shards, but lootscaling really hit hard. also, the finale was nothing "big"...it was like wam, bam, thank you maam. Thank you for the neat graphics and quests and such...but in the future, PLEASE remove holiday items from lootscale.....or atleast increase their drop rate. 100g per ccshard? o.O

Thank you Anet for a fun event.
No, I'm not overly fond of the headgear this year, but it's the thought that counts. (The wreath would be better if it weren't PINK! *groan*)
Yes, I had some lag, but sh*t happens and no one is perfect so no hard feelings from me.
Thanks for the fun quests in the snowman dungeon, I really liked doing those (again and again and again).
Again, thank you Anet for another fun Wintersday event.

Thank you for the Winterday event... I had a great time despite the lag issues. It was fun, as with all of the special events you provide us with. I hope it continues every year...
